God Damn it!!! Save the Earth

Its been a while i churned my thinking process, had been busy(lame excuse i know).
Well and as one day i was passing by office building i saw lots and lots of smoke coming out from the generator exhaust..And i looked around, all surrounding office buildings were generating this huge plethora of carbon dirt...It really made me shiver..I could just see the big hole in the ozone layer getting created in front of my eyes..
I was very aware of the active global warming events recently (so sad it seems the wave has died) and it made me think, what on earth these offices are spared for? I know there is huge electricity problem in the state, but wait a minute we have this huge dam generating enormous amount of electricity for the northern grid, still....i pity all of us...
In delhi the weather is really hot these days..i am sure 1-2 years more carbonizing of environment and we all definately wont need those logs to burn in a funeral, the sun will take care of our cremation...
Well i hope the govt really takes note of this and soon should provide some large scale environmental friendly power genration means...Be ready for "DAY AFTER TOMORROW"...

The Fad..The Myth..The Reality...

I have been a big feminist..but hey the feminism river has decided to take unpredictable course... Now its like..this river has started to build deltas inside deltas..this is becoming a mess, so i renounce my feminist title..Why?? Well earlier in india situation of women was not that scenic..Yes i do agree on that one..I wont narrate what was wrong in those previous days..every single being in BHARAT is told that from the day he gained worldy sense..Then slowly some revolution gripped indian women, i used to think previously ,Oh boy good..that happened..someone did step up to help women..but today i realised that those early day steps which meant so much for the feminine being are no longer alive.... Yeah you were given the right to speak,be heard , involve in society , cherish publicity, equal oppurtunity as men, choice to wear your own clothes, acceptance of social drinking ,smoking..and on and on...(I know there are many things that women have not yet achieved in india, thats because they are lost in the westward ho race...Women themselves are to blame for the things that they could not achieve for their sisterhood) You list down..what freedom you have today compared to what you would have been denied in 70's..Now ponder over it, of these how many things, in indian contex,t are what you wanted in those 70's...i would say probably 60% of your list..Hmmm..so who got these 40% of the listed things screwed up in your mind??? The so called west practising free lancers... I mean those 40% things are not bad..but do you really need it?? Or you just chose the act because it is considered some freedom fad, written in some women journal or magazine or some daily newspaper supplement??? 80% of average literate women who are reading this blog will say yes to the second question?? I still re-iterate nothing wrong with those 40% of the things you do, but i ask again do you need it?? Does an Indian women whose culture and upbringing is superiorly different from the west, needs it???? I will take an example(Well the too much exploitation in the name of this fad provoked me for this blog)....Do you see the fad word Metro Sexual Man going around mouth to mouth between the ladies...Yes this term, this concept is reaaly a BIG FAD... So i did some research and found these revealing truth....
The FAD : Women want their man to be metrosexual. Or more generically, Some western influenced protaganist wants indian women to look out for metrosexual man, yeah because it is the in THING!!!

Wooow...is that you all ladies mongering and gigling in groups want your man to be!!!!! Phew!! thank God..i unaccepted to be the part of this fad..many are part of it just because their beautiful ladies asked them to be(Wake up dude!!)..(Just catching up with my breath..still laughing!!) And guess what!!!! This did not stop here..Some freaky westo added some things more to the metrosexual man fad... Like..Ohh he should be caring enough to wake up on sunday mornings and prepare a breakfast for you, or go and get milk early in the morning...By doing so he is showing his sensitive side and acknowledges waht all you do for him in life...And for the hells sake, this is yur definition of metrosexual,yuuukkkk !! Duh!!!well these pieces were put together not to create a metrosexual man buzz..but your thirst for freedom, the kind which you really dont want, is being generated... Yeah man do not acknowledge often what the lady is doing for him in his life..He shows in maybe once in a week or in a month...but hello..thats what all is not metrosexual.. He is being what he is meant to be...not METROSexual..but only MAN!!! One reality is that none of the men want to be metrosexual..They do it for the sake..because the women of her life wants him to be that (Start appreciating that)...Asking for sensitiveness is good..but see here you are asking for more (asking your man to stop existing as a masculine being)and that too not because you want it..it is because some one told you that you want or you read it somewhere and wihout even giving a thought that whether you want it or not, you just want to exercise this new freedom fad?? You, the women of india..its time to stop exercising what you have, why dont you help others deprived of what you have, to achive that freedom..Stop this nuisance of competeing with men,asking them to be metrosexual..it looks more like asking for a gender transformation for both!!! Go and find the Nirvana of what women freedom is ? first!! God made you with some distinct qualities...use them well for betterment of the world.. I think there are many women there as feminist and some as western feminist setting a benchmark for a free INDIAN WOMEN and you are going to choose one of the 2...You currently dont need any feminist men ADIOS to all..I have to help the confused men, victimised by those disillusioning benchmarks set up for them!!!!

We the Coders....

I bet many people must have seen the movie SWADES..We The People..

Yeah watched it..Many of us did became emotional for the nation...We did peak the emotion of being proud to be an indian during those three hours...But the worst part..we come out of the movie, some had a long drag of their cigarretes, some sought for other ways to be relieved from the emotional tension...got out of the emotion quickly and went home singing what a great movie was made....

What all i said is going to continue for a long from here..So those who dont want to waste their precious time to read another blog on same lines can carry on with their regular work...

So what are We The People...

One instance i came across was some weeks ago an article titled something about Programmers and Coders...

And to my astonishment most of the indian IT people are considered as "CODERS" rather than a programmer..For beginners i would put it in lay man terms as "CODERS" can be called as the painter and "PROGRAMMERS" can be termed as the Interior Designers...I wanted to put a little more harsh analogy here..but that would be too hard for you all to digest..

So here are we...The cheap labours, not putting any mind to what are we doing??..why are we doing?? hah..And many will say as long as we are getting good moolah..why care??..Who bothers.??..But ever realized at what cost...

You work for an MNC for a daily bread , generate huge profits for THEM....And in the process did you expects some praise for it?? No wonder they did gave away a Best Associate..Performer of the Year...Spotted type of award to you...Ohhh yeah man they did gave it to you..

Was it for your smart work that they gave it to you?? Was it for the silence with which you worked asking no questions and not putting much of your intelligence into the project, along with unquestionable long hours???

Look around, how many people did get the award for putting their intelligence into the project??

Find a few..But you did find the guy who toiled all night for project sake getting the award???

So in short the "CODER" got the award and the "Programmer" was sitting among the audience clapping for him..

Now did you realize at what cost you are earning that profit for your organization..

Yes, you bought an image of yourself as not only the best "CODER" but also you are being portrayed as an inspirational JACK for others to be a CODER and not a programmer..Net result ..Every body here in SWADES is a "CODER" or more appropriate being asked to become a "CODER"...

Thats the story across the nation...But who is at fault...We The People who nurtured that image and planting more saplings for not better programmers harvest..but better coders harvest..

But are all indains considers "CODERS"..albeit the story isn't so..The "PROGRAMMER" who came up with the fantastic solution for a problem was probably an indian..the only difference was that he beiing across the international boundary somewhere in US or UK....

And the "DOG WORK" (could not resist using the word) is given offshore..because the solution needs a lot of toiling,working late hours. Probably more hours than estimated to finish..But for them its OK...they have enough confidence in their CODERS in india that come what may...16 hrs at strech or maybe 48 hrs at a stretch..he will do it for that cheap moolah(carrot)...

I have come across many people who are real good "PROGRAMMERS" in india...But the problem is that nobody want to acknowledge them for what they are?? Why?? Hell..if they acknowledge you as a programmer then probably they will have to give you more moolah...And why did your organization at the first place opened a huge campus in India and hired you...??Those firangs are better baniyas than the best one we have in GUJARAT....Cost Cutting baby!!! which implies...

Not to be a programmer but to be a "CODER"..

So hey you idiotic 3 rupee newspaper's editor or journalist...We were chosen at the first place to be a "CODER" and those who wanted to be "PROGRAMMERS" or are "PROGRAMMERS" were moulded to be "CODER"..many silenced by discouragement...And on a day when you see a programmer rising choosing not to be a CODER..that day you will definately need to check with reduced $ investments in indian it industry.....

Choice!!! huh..Seems more of an Obligation here to the nation...Not complaining on that..but next time you choose to wrote about indian "CODERS"...get a global glimpse..

And you the "PROGRAMMER" do rise for the sake of SWADES and let there be some acknowledgement to the Nation as a nurturer of Costly Brains and not cheap labours...

Lets not portray ourself as We the Coders.....Lets hear it for We The Programmers...

Finally on Board..

I have been trying to catch up with this blogging thing for a while both to publish some tech articles and some random thoughts. But i could never ever figure out, why do people BLOG so much.

Some feel like burping out their anger,many folks post about their daily lifes right from the cat in the house to honeymoon destination pics, how their relationship broke, blah blah...Still no clue

But finally it dawned on me like the first ray of light...Its the best way to share things..be it emotinal,social , entertainment , philosophical. Sometimes i feel people who are depressed the most have taken up blogging, but i do find many cheerful blogs to..
I have been reading a lot of technical blogs but lately i found some personal blogs which were quite suitable to my taste..

Yeah you also do get to know the other side of the coin..what abode lies beyond your street, country and maybe someday people from other planets will also start blogging.. And i dont want to be embarrased by a lady from venus saying "You don't BLOG, whacko!!"

Well i dont have a fad to read the emotional turbulence of people and nor do i want to share the same.. So i promise that it wont be another daily soaper will try to keep it informative as much possible..

So "whacko" are you on board or do i have to say it again !!!
